Synectics Group and our client, Kozy Shack Enterprises, participated in the 2007 Annual Trade Promotion Management Associates (TPMA) conference, Achieving the Relative Gold Standard in Trade Promotion Optimization. The conference this year was held at the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk hotel, on Sunday, April 29th through Tuesday, May 1st, 2007.
After the Keynote address and Manufacturer Panel, each session was a deep dive into a metrics based approach to TPM. Specific sessions focused on Planning, Deal, Execution, Settlement, and Analytics - how to select and utilize the right KPI's to drive excellence.
Each session had a whiteboard and tools for groups to understand the Goals, Methodology, Math, and how to implement company specific best practices when back at their organizations. Attendees learned from peers how to structure and implement a metrics based Trade Promotion program allowing your organization and how trading partners were able to consistently achieve excellence in Trade Promotion Management.
