Melitta USA, headquarters located in Clearwater, Florida is part of the privately held Melitta Group of Minden, Germany.   Melitta USA is responsible for the sales and marketing of Melitta branded filter paper, coffee and non electric coffee systems in the USA. This distribution is to all retail channels in the USA.

Melitta's North American manufacturing operations are geographically dispersed. All coffee roasting and packaging is done in Cherry Hill, New Jersey as part of the Melitta USA group. Filter paper and non electric coffeemaking systems are manufactured in Clearwater, Florida also as part of the Melitta USA group. Melitta electrics and accessories are manufactured, marketed and distributed under a licensing agreement with Salton.

Worldwide, the Melitta Group manufactures and markets a wide variety of consumer products including foils and wraps, air cleaners and humidifiers, vacuum bags and cleaning products, and, of course, under the Melitta brand name, the full range of coffee-preparation products for which the company is best known.
