selects Account Review for Trade Funds Management.
After
a multi vendor review process, Sorrento
Food Service chooses Synectics Group's
Account Review software to manage their
trade promotion spending and trade funds
management. The Sorrento Retail Division
has been in using Account Review for over
two years. We are proud to add the
Sorrento Food Service Division to our client
list.
In 1947, Mr. Russo and two partners formed
the Sorrento Cheese Company. As their reputation
grew, so did the company, which would soon
include facilities in New York, New Jersey,
and California. In fact, things went so well
in California that in 1986 Sorrento purchased
the Precious® cheese brand. Together,
Sorrento and Precious gave national scope
to the manufacture and distribution of authentic
soft Italian cheese.
It wasn't long before Sorrento’s reputation
attracted attention of a different kind.
In 1992, Sorrento and our parent company
became part of one of the world's premier
international dairy companies, and through
a series of key acquisitions, Sorrento® has
become one of the largest cheese manufacturers
in the United States with combined sales
of approximately $800 million.
